NewPipe APP: A Better YouTube Client for Android
NewPipe APP is an open source YouTube app for Android that has all the features that the official YouTube app doesn't support or only offers if you pay for it. The official YouTube app comes preinstalled on most Android devices. Many users find it almost unusable because Google has intentionally limited its functionality. It lacks background playback, downloads, displays lots of ads, and is annoying in other ways.
Subscribers can restore some of these features, but there are better options. One of them is NewPipe APP.
You can download NewPipe app from the developer site or Android app apk download platform. Note that you need to enable the installation of apps from unknown sources on your Android device to do this.
By default, NewPipe displays content in the system's language and region, but you can easily change these parameters in the settings. Select Menu > Settings > Content, where you can toggle the Preferences App Language, Default Content Language, and Default Content Country.
You can browse popular videos or use the built-in search. NewsPipe App does not use proprietary Google APIs and sends the bare minimum required for its functionality.
Click on the video to start playing on the device. The video plays immediately without ads. NewPipe offers all the features you'd expect, plus more. You'll see comments below the video, and you can play the video in full screen and add it to a playlist.
Other features include changing the quality of the stream, enabling background playback and downloading videos to the local system for offline access. Play in the background with just one tap. You can then hide the NewPipe app on your device without losing playback of the stream.

NewPipe automatically displays the download size in the download dialog. When using the download feature for the first time, you will be asked to select a download folder.

Another handy feature of NewPipe is the ability to subscribe to channels without logging into a Google account. Simply tap the Subscribe button to add channels to your subscriptions to create custom feeds and quickly access subscribed channels. The bookmark function is closely related to this. Create your own playlists or import them to play an endless stream of content on your device anytime, anywhere.
The settings are extensive and provide everything you could possibly want and more. You can turn off comments and the display of "next" or "similar" videos, configure notifications in detail, disable viewing history, change the appearance of NewPipe app, or set the default resolution and format for video and audio content.
